Many wonder if the extra clicking involved in moving scvs to different mineral patches is worth it.  The answer?

The most minerals per worker is around 2 per mineral patch. Your income maxes out at around 2.5 workers per mineral patch, more then that and you are just wasting supply.  So if you have more then 2 workers per mineral patch you should move some to your expansion.
